Not walking, not sitting.
Not standing, not lying.
Not departed, not arrived.
Not idle, not dynamic.
Not falling, not landing.
Not down, not up.
Not serious, not ridiculous.

The situation is about to tip and its denouement remains ambiguous.
In-between what has yet to happen and what's already past.
Depicting a transitory state.

A precariously balanced wooden panel, supported but by a fragile broken chair, about to crash any moment. Ten short video loops, projected from the back, give the impression of small moving photographs.

Nicht gehend, nicht sitzend.
Nicht stehend, nicht liegend.
Nicht losgelaufen, nicht angekommen.
Nicht träge, nicht dynamisch.
Nicht fallend, nicht landend.
Nicht unten, nicht oben.
Nicht ernsthaft, nicht lächerlich.

Die Situation kippt, der Ausgang ist ungewiss.
Zwischen noch nicht und schon passiert:
Einen momentanen Zustand beschreibend.

Im Raum ist eine Zwischenwand installiert, scheinbar dem Absturz nahe, gestützt durch einen zerbrochenen Stuhl. Zehn kurze Videoloops werden von hinten auf Rückprojektionsfolie projiziert und vermitteln den Eindruck von kleinen, minimal bewegten Fotos.
