Photography on textiles
12 acoustic transducers, steel wires
In collaboration with Thomas Grill and Nicole Krenn
Old sawmill at national park Gesäuse, AT

Within their exhibition Rieseln, Thomas Grill, Nicole Krenn and Lisa Truttmann investigate the processes of erosion in the national park Gesäuse. They examine temporal as well as visual and acoustic phenomena and abstract them throughout different media. The architectural structures of the old sawmill in Gstatterboden are integrated into the installation, spanning a permeable space that flows from the open ceiling to the wooden floor. Photographs and synthetic sounds on textiles are arranged across tightened steel wires. Makro records of sound and image are reference and source material, and at the same time tangible components of this walk-in installation.
